Falcons continue action at Fall MAC Indoor

The Bowling Green State University women's tennis team continued action at the weekend's 2002 Fall MAC Invitational Saturday (Nov. 9). The tournament, which is being hosted by Western Michigan University, is taking place at the West Hills Athletic Club.

In singles play, the Falcons got a pair of wins in back-draw action. Freshman Andrea Meister posted a fifth-flight win over Akron's Suki Padda, while sophomore Lindsey Mix won her sixth-flight back-draw match over Marijana Adzic.
Three members of the Falcons -- junior Gaby Coello (flight number two), senior Alyson Gabel (#3) and sophomore Laura Kokinda (#4) -- lost in semifinal-round action after winning their respective opening matches on Friday.
The tournament, and BGSU's fall season, will conclude on Sunday (Nov. 10). The complete results through Saturday's action are available by accessing the pdf attachment above.
