Gymnastics Hosts Air Force This Weekend

The Bowling Green Falcon Gymnastics Team returns home this weekend on Friday, March 1 to host the Air Force Academy at 7 p.m. in Eppler Center Complex. The last time the two schools met was in 1994. BG won the decision 176.900 to 176.225. Coming into the weekend, BGSU is 14-1 overall, 5-0 in the Mid-American Conference and also sitting atop first place in the league.

When asked about his team's performance as of late, Head Coach Dan Connelly commented, "The girls have been solid, but they need to stay focused on hitting routines. This weekend is just another opportunity to practice for the upcoming MAC Championships."

This week is the first of two consecutive home meets for the Falcons. Next Friday, March 8, BGSU will host conference opponent Eastern Michigan. This will be the final home meet of the season for the Falcons before they travel to Pittsuburgh and then are off to the MAC Championship to be held at Ball State.
