BGSU Bats Erupt In 10-2 Win

ORLANDO, Fla. - The Bowling Green State University softball team scored 10 runs in the first four innings and posted a 10-2 victory over the University of Tennessee Martin Thursday afternoon (March 14). The game, BGSU's eighth contest in the Rebel Spring Games, was called after five innings due to the run rule.
The Falcons evened the season record at 7-7 on the season, and BGSU has won three consecutive games. The Falcons are now 5-3 on the spring trip. BG's double-digit run total was the highest this season.
Senior Jessie Milosek picked up the win to move her season record to 3-1. The Falcons pounded out 12 hits to the Skyhawks' six.
Four Falcons had two hits apiece in the win. Junior Kandice Machain had two hits in three at-bats, with a double and a pair of RBI. Senior Renee Rosemeier and junior Libby Voshell each went 2-for-4 with two RBI, while junior Crystal Wilson also had two hits in four trips to the plate.
The Falcons are idle Friday before playing a pair of Saturday (March 16) games. The Brown and Orange will conclude the Florida trip with contests against Mississippi and George Mason.
