The Bowling Green Gymnastics team continues its impressive 2002 campaign by being ranked fifth in the Central Region according to GymInfo.
The Falcons are ranked just behind the University of Alabama, Louisiana State, the University of Kentucky, and Michigan State. The Falcons have posted an average team score of 194.182, also good for 23rd in the nation.
Bowling Green is also represented in the individual rankings by senior Marny Oestreng. Oestreng is currently tied for 14th in the nation in the all-around and is also tied for 18th in the nation in the floor exercise.
The Falcons are at Ball State this Saturday, March 23 for the Mid-American Conference Championships. BG's squad is a favorite to win after capturing the MAC regular season title two weeks ago.
