The Bowling Green Gymnastics team is ranked nationally in several categories according to recent GymInfo standings.
As a team the Falcons are 28th overall and are two and three places ahead of MAC opponents Kent State (30th) and Ball State (31st). BG, Kent and Ball State are the highest ranked teams in the Mid-American Conference.
Senior Marny Oestreng is the lone Falcon ranked in in the Individual Top 20 standings. Oestreng is currently 15th in the nation overall and is also ranked in the uneven bars (18th), the floor exercise (18th), and the all around (15th).
The Falcons return to action this weekend as they host Eastern Michigan in their final home meet of 2002. The meet will begin at 7 p.m. at Eppler Center Complex.
