Falcon Relay Teams Compete On 1st Day of MAC's

The Bowling Green Men's Swim Team currently holds 58 points after the first day of competition at the Mid-American Conference Swimming and Diving Championships in Athens, Ohio.

BG's 400 yard medley relay team and 200 yard freestyle relay teams were in action yesterday, placing 7th and 8th respectively. The 400 medley team included freshman Robert McRae, junior Ray Bartel, and seniors Kevin Anderson and Adam Brown. The four placed 7th with a final time of 3:27.06. The 200 freestyle squad included freshman McRae, junior Dan Reese, and seniors Adam Brown and Tom Mohlman. This quartet combined for an 8th place finish with a time of 1:26.65.

The Falcons continue preliminary MAC Championship competition Friday and all finals action will conclude on Saturday. Overall, BG is 3-9 on the 2002 season.
