BGSU Hockey Hosts Annual Golf Outing

Bowling Green, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University hockey program hosted its ninth annual alumni & community golf outing on Friday, June 21, 2002, at Forrest Creason Golf Course.

Nearly 200 golfers participated in the outing, with more attending the dinner and live auction held afterwards outside the new addition of the Ice Arena. Over 35 former Falcon icers returned to Bowling Green for the event, as well as former BGSU coaches Jerry York and Jack Vivian.

Longtime BGSU head athletic trainer, Bill Jones, was recognized during the dinner for his support and service to the Falcon hockey progam over the past 28 years. He announced his retirement from Bowling Green this past spring.
