Rochester, Mich. - Oakland University scored three unanswered goals in the second half to defeat visiting Bowling Green on Saturday afternoon, 3-0.
The Grizzlies (2-2-1) outshot the Falcons 12-2 in the first half and 11-6 in the second half (23-8 for the game).
Goals for Oakland came at 53:21 (Matt Connor), 77:54 (Bret McNabb) and 87:05 (Connor).
BG goalkeeper David DeGraff kept Oakland at bay in the first half, registering four saves. He ended the match with seven saves. Oakland's Jeff Wiese had five saves in the match.
Junior-transfer Eric Duda led the Falcons with three shots on goal while Ben Monnette and Paul Dhaliwal each had one.
BGSU (0-6-0) returns home next Friday, Sept. 20, against visiting Ohio State (2 p.m.) at Cochrane Field.
