New York Jets Sign LB Khary Campbell

Hempstead, N.Y. - The New York Jets announced today they have signed linebacker Khary Campbell. Terms of the signing were not disclosed. The announcement was made by Jets' General Manager Terry Bradway.

The Jets signed Campbell, a 6-1, 230-pound linebacker from Bowling Green off of the practice squad of the Dallas Cowboys. Campbell was signed to the Cowboys' practice squad on September 3 after being waived by Dallas at the end of training camp on August 27. The Toledo, Ohio native originally signed with the Cowboys as a rookie free agent following the April draft.

The signing brings the Jets' active roster to 53 players. The Jets will make their second trip to Florida in as many weeks to take on the Jacksonville Jaguars at Alltel Stadium on Sunday, September 29 at 1:00 p.m.
