BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - David DeGraff is the Bowling Green State University Scholar-Athlete of the Week. DeGraff, a senior on the BGSU men's soccer team, helped the Falcons to a pair of wins last weekend, surrendering just two goals in two matches.
DeGraff, a native of Naperville, Ill. (Central HS), picked up back-to-back wins against IPFW and Northern Illinois over the weekend. DeGraff surrendered one goal in 93 minutes of action against the Mastodons (Oct. 10) in a 2-1 victory in overtime. Two days later (Oct. 12), he allowed just one goal vs. NIU as the Falcons picked up another 2-1 win, this time in regulation.

For his efforts, DeGraff was named the MAC Player of the Week on Monday (Oct. 13), earning that honor for the second time in his Falcon career.
Currently, DeGraff leads the seven-team conference in total saves (71) and saves per game (6.45), and is second in save percentage (.807 pct.). He also leads all active goalkeepers in career shutouts with 16, which is tied for sixth all-time in MAC history.
DeGraff, a criminal justice major, maintains a 3.20 cumulative grade point average.
The Falcons (5-5-2, 2-2-0 MAC) step outside of conference play for a pair of matches, heading to Cleveland State Thursday (Oct. 16) before hosting Birmingham Southern Sunday (Oct. 19). The latter match, the first half of a soccer doubleheader at BGSU's Cochrane Field, will begin at 11:30 a.m.
