Dear BGSU Fans,
We are about to embark on a historic weekend when your 23rd-ranked Falcons host #12 Northern Illinois on Saturday. I can not tell you how much your support has meant to our players and for you to step up with the first sellout in 30 years is awesome!
The national spotlight has never been greater on our program and the opportunity to leave a positive impression of BGSU falls not only on the shoulders of our football program, but on everyone who has invested their time and energy in supporting the Falcons.
I would ask first and foremost that you have fun and take advantage of this opportunity. Show the nation and especially the Mid-American Conference that no one can rise to the occasion quite like the BGSU community. Show your spirit by making signs, wear your school colors and most importantly be respectful, safe, and make good choices. Please be mindful that college athletics is a celebration of what each school has to offer.
Together lets make this a special weekend and one that we remember in a positive light.
Be loud, be proud and set an example for the nation to follow.
