Miller Named To WBCA Committee

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - Bowling Green State University head coach Curt Miller has been elected to the Russell Athletic/Women's Basketball Coaches Association Coach of the Year selection committee, the WBCA has announced. Miller will represent Region 4 (Mideast region) on the committee.
The nine-member committee, which consists of a chairperson and a representative from each region across the country, is responsible for selecting the NCAA Division I coach of the year. Miller and the other representatives were nominated for the positions by other head coaches in the NCAA Division-I ranks.
"I am pleased to represent our region on the Russell Athletic/WBCA Coach of the Year selection committee," said Miller. "I am honored to have been chosen by my peers for this position."
Miller officially begins his third season with the Falcons on Saturday, Nov. 22. On that date, BGSU will open the 2003-04 regular-season schedule with a game at Youngstown State. The Falcons will host Detroit three days later (Nov. 25) in the home opener. That game, the first half of a basketball doubleheader, is scheduled to begin at 5:45 p.m. at Anderson Arena.
