Bowling Green, Ohio - Bowling Green State University Director of Athletics Paul Krebs has announced that next week's Bowling Green/Toledo football game will be moved to noon on Saturday, November 29 and will be carried live on ESPN. The game was originally scheduled for 6 p.m., Friday, November 28.
"This is a tremendous opportunity for the league and shows the respect that the MAC has gained through the efforts of both teams this season," said Krebs. "We are very sensitive to the fact that many fans will have to change some of their Holiday plans, but we also now have the opportunity to continue to advance the University and our football program through a nationally televised game and reach more alumni, fans and friends through ESPN."
This will mark a record ninth nationally televised regular season game this season for the MAC and the third appearance each for BGSU and Toledo. The winner of the game will host Miami in the MAC Championship game at 7 p.m., Thursday, December 4. That game will be aired on ESPN2.
