Falcons Host Miami and Ball State This Weekend

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University volleyball team will look to rebound from an 0-4 road trip over the past two weeks, by welcoming Miami and Ball State to Anderson Arena this weekend (Nov. 7-8). Both matches are set for 7:00 p.m.
BGSU dropped both matches over the weekend, falling in three to Ohio on Friday night and four to Marshall the following night. Senior Susie Norris recorded back-to-back double-doubles over the weekend. On Friday night she registered 17 kills and 14 digs. On Saturday versus Marshall she posted 10 kills and 17 digs. For the weekend she led the team with 3.86 kills per game and was second on the team with 4.43 digs per game.
A LOOK AT THE OPPONENTS
The Miami Redhawks (8-19, 2-10 MAC) have lost 11 of their last 12 matches, with their only win in that span coming at Marshall on Halloween night. Miami owns a 33-17 series lead over the Falcons, with Bowling Green winning the only contest last year at Miami in four, 32-30, 26-30, 30-28, 31-29.
Ball State (12-13, 6-6 MAC) will visit Anderson Arena on Saturday night having lost three of their last four Mid American Conference matches, with their winning coming over Akron in a three game sweep on November, 2. With a series sweep last season over BGSU the Cardinals own a commanding 32-10-1 series advantage.
SCHEDULE REMINDER
Following this weekend series, BGSU will host Akron on November 12 at 7:00 p.m. for their final home match of the season.
