Falcons Take Final Road Trip of Regular Season to Lake Superior (Feb. 28 - March 1)
BGSU will take its final road trip of the 2002-03 regular season when it travels to Sault Ste. Marie, Mich. for a two-game series vs. Lake Superior State University (Feb. 28 - March 1). Both games are scheduled for a 7:05 p.m. faceoff.
BGSU at Lake Superior (5-23-4 overall, 2-21-1 CCHA)
Bowling Green leads the all-time series 64-51-5, but are 25-28-2 in "The Soo" vs. the Lakers. BGSU is 7-2-1 in its last 10 meetings vs. LSSU. Eight of those games have been decided by two goals or less. This series is the only meeting between the two schools this season.
The Last Time vs. Lake Superior...
BGSU won the season series last year, 2-1-1. The two teams ended in a 4-4 tie in the last meeting (Feb.16, 2002). BGSU shutout Lake Superior, 2-0, on Feb. 15 for one of its two blankings of last season for the Falcons.

McConvey Hits 50 Career Assists
JR Captain D'Arcy McConvey recorded the 50th assist of his career on Friday with two helpers vs. WMU. McConvey added two more assists on Saturday vs. the Broncos to give him a career-high 19 assists this season. He now has 20-52--72 in 109 career games at BGSU. Ten of those assists have come in the last eight games.
Bieksa Reaches 50 Career Points
JR Asst. Captain Kevin Bieksa notched his 50th career point on Friday with a PPG and an assist in the 3-3 tie at WMU. Bieksa is third on the team with 22 points this season (7g,15a) and has a team-high 107 shots. The defenseman has 16-34--50 in 104 career games at BGSU.
Knight Sees Double Once Again
Tyler Knight's two goals vs. WMU on Friday marked the third time this season that the assistant captain has notched two goals in a game. The other games were Jan. 21 vs. Wayne State and Dec. 27 vs. #6 Boston College. Eleven of his 20 points this season have come on the BGSU power play.
Knight Registering Career Marks
SR forward Tyler Knight scored three of BGSU's five goals in two games vs. WMU last weekend. Knight netted two PPGs and one four-on-four goal. The two PPGs gave him five on the season, a new personal best, and 10 overall, also a new personal high. Knight is currently on a career-long three-game goal streak and four-game point streak. He has registered a point in seven of his last eight games and has tallied nearly half of his season's 20 points during that stretch (6-3--9).
