Ypsilanti, Mich. - Bowling Green's baseball game at Eastern Michigan University on Friday night was suspended due to rain in the bottom of the second inning with EMU holding a 2-0 lead. The two teams will resume the game at 12 noon on Saturday in Bowling Green at Warren Steller Field, as well as play a doubleheader afterwards.
EMU went ahead in the bottom of the first inning via a two-run home run by Todd Kimling off of BGSU starter Kyle Knoblauch. Sophomore Tyler Saneholtz will take the mound for the Falcons to resume the game on Saturday afternoon.
The two teams are scheduled to meet at 1 p.m. back in Ypsilanti, Mich. on Sunday for one game.
