BGSU Women 14th After Day One at William & Mary

Williamsburg, Va. - The Bowling Green State University women's golf team is 14th after day one of the William & Mary Invitational, completed on Saturday, with a team score of 325. Twenty-two teams are competing in the tournament and played one round on Saturday with the final round on Sunday. Longwood University leads with a score of 307.

Junior Jenny Schnipke is tied for 10th individually after carding a 76 for 18 holes. Junior Julie Wise, who missed most of the fall schedule due to an injury, is tied for 16th with a score of 77. Other Falcon competitors include Stephanie Elsea (T-69th, 84), Shelley Binzel (T-96th, 88) and Kari Evans (T-109th, 94).

The final round of 18 holes will be played on Sunday.
