BGSU Women's Golf Finishes T-9th at Lady Buckeye Invitational

Columbus, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University women's golf team finished tied for ninth place at the 2003 Lady Buckeye Spring Invitational this past weekend with a score of 975. The three-round tournament was held at the Ohio State Scarlet Golf Course in Columbus, Ohio.
OSU won the 12-team tournament with a score of 886.
Leading the Falcons was junior Jenny Schnipke who finished tied for 16th place with a three-round score of 234. She carded three-straight rounds of 78. Senior Shelley Binzel finished tied for 28th place with a score of 243 (82, 80, 81). Other Falcon finishers were Stephanie Elsea (T-54th, 254), Emily Hassen (57th, 256), Amanda Schroeder (63rd, 261), and Julie Wise (T-64th, 265).
The Falcons end their season this weekend when they travel to the Mid-American Conference Tournament to be held in Hamilton, Ohio. The tournament is officially being hosted by the University of Toledo.
