BGSU Hires Gymnastics Coach

Bowling Green, Ohio - Bowling Green State University announced today the hiring of Kerrie Beach as assistant gymnastics coach. Beach joins head coach Dan Connelly who enters his eighth season as Falcon Gymnastics coach.

Beach comes to BGSU after serving as head gymnastics coach at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh since 2000. She was named WIAC Conference Coach of the Year in 2003. Beach also served as admission counselor for the gymnastics program as well as recruiting incoming student-athletes, budgeting for events and fundraising. Prior to Wisconsin-Oshkosh, Beach served as Ursinus College assistant gymnastics coach from October 1999 through March of 2000.

The Wilton, Conn., native was a gymnast for the Ursinus College program from 1996-1999 and was elected team captain her junior and senior season. Beach earned a degree in exercise and sport science in May 1999.
