Toledo Leads Falcon Fall Invitational After Day One

Bowling Green, Ohio - The University of Toledo women's golf team leads by one stroke after day one of the Falcon Fall Invitational at Forrest Creason Golf Course. UT finished the 18-hole round with a team score of 310, one shot ahead of host Bowling Green, 311.
Individually, Grand Valley State's Kristi Vienneau leads the field with a one-under-par score of 71. Oakland's Mara Mazzoni is second (72) and BGSU's Jenny Schnipke is third (73).
Toledo has three top-10 golfers and BGSU has two after day one, including Schnipke and Amanda Schroeder (+3, 75) who is tied for 6th place. Other Falcons competing are freshman Kari Liggett (81, T-19th), senior Julie Wise (82, T-24th), and senior Kari Evans (83, T-28th).
BGSU captured last year's Falcon Fall Invitational with a team score of 622.
The final round will be played at Forrest Creason Golf Course tomorrow, Sunday, with a 9 a.m. shotgun start.
