Friday Women's Soccer Match Delayed

VALPARAISO, Ind. - The women's soccer match between Bowling Green State University and Valparaiso University, originally scheduled for Friday (Sept. 26) at 5:30 p.m. Eastern, has been delayed due to lightning in the Valparaiso area. As of 7:30 p.m. ET, the teams are still hoping to play the match.

VU's home field, Eastgate Field, does not have lights, so the Falcons and Crusaders are attempting to play at Fairgrounds Park in Valparaiso. The student radio station, WVUR, is still hoping to broadcast the match, provided a power source is available at the park.
