Cleveland, Ohio - Bowling Green State University men's basketball senior Kevin Netter was named MAC West Men's Basketball Player of the Week after he scored 23 points and had seven rebounds and five blocked shots against Toledo.
The 6-10 center from Richmond Dale, Ohio is sixth in the league in scoring (MAC games only) averaging 16.7 points per game. He also is second in the league in field goal percentage (58.8) and blocked shots (1.37).
This also marks the second time in his career he has won this award (1/13/03).
