Saturday's game will be televised live by Comcast Local in Michigan (Detroit, Flint and Lansing).
The Falcons hold a 20-10-1 lead in the series and have won the last six meetings.
BGSU defeated EMU, 33-20, in Ypsilanti last season and 63-21 in the Eagles last visit to Doyt Perry Stadium in 2002.
Senior center Scott Mruczkowski will set a school record with 45 starts on the offensive line (44, Rob Fehrman, 1997-00). The Falcons have allowed a league-low three sacks this season.
Sophomore quarterback Omar Jacobs, who is in his first year as the Falcons' starting signal caller, is the national leader in points responsible for (20.57), second nationally in total offense (345.3), fifth in completions per game (25.57), and seventh in passing efficiency (164.5). He also has thrown a MAC-high 22 TD passes and has the fewest interceptions in the nation for a player with 250 pass attempts or more with two.
The Falcons are the top team in the MAC converting on 53.7 % of their third down opportunities.
BGSU leads the MAC averaging 41.4 points per game and is second in the league in scoring defense allowing just 20.4 points per game. BGSU also has allowed a league-low five TD passes.
EMU head coach Jeff Genyk is a 1982 graduate of BGSU and played quarterback for the Falcons from 1978-81.
EMU wide receiver A.J. Bennett is a childhood friend of BGSU quarterback Omar Jacobs. Both are from Delray Beach, Florida and each graduated from Atlantic Community High School.
BGSU has won 14 straight games at home against MAC West foes and have captured 15 straight regular season games at "the Doyt". BGSU last loss to a MAC West opponent at home in 1999 against WMU and fell to Miami during the 2001 regular season and 2003 MAC Championship game.
