Falcons To Compete In 50th Annual All-Ohio Country Championships

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University cross country team and head coach Cami Wells hit the road for the 2004 All-Ohio Championships this Friday (Oct. 8) in Delaware, Ohio. The men's race is scheduled to begin at 2:00 p.m. with the women's race following at 2:45 p.m.
Unattached entries for the open races will be accepted only on the day of the race. The entry fee is $20. Runners can pay the entry fee and pick up their packets at the tent near the finish line.
Parking is available on the campus of the Methodist Theological School. Please do not park along roads or on the grounds of Dornoch Golf Club.
DRIVING DIRECTIONS
From the east (I-71, US 36, Ohio 37):
Exit Interstate 71 at the Delaware exit (exit 131). Turn west on US 36/Ohio 37 and proceed approximately 8 miles into Delaware. At the edge of town, US 36 and Ohio 37 split -- take the left fork and stay on US 36 or William Street. You will go under a railroad overpass and then an overpass for US 23. Turn left at the intersection with US 23 and get on US 23 south. You will pass strip malls on the left and on the right and come to a light at the intersection with Ohio 315. Go through the light and cross the river and Methesco is immediately on the left.
From the south (US 23):
Methesco is approximately 12 miles north of Interstate 270 on US 23 (High Street in Columbus). Proceed north on US 23 and watch for Chesire Road. After the light at Chesire Road, go down the hill and the course will be on the right.
From the north (US 23):
Go around Delaware to the intersection of Ohio 315. Go through the light and cross the river and Methesco is immediately on the left.
From the southwest (US 42):
At the US 42-US 23 interchange, turn left on to South Sandusky Street and then left again to merge with US 23 south. You will pass strip malls on the left and on the right and come to a light at the intersection with Ohio 315. Go through the light and cross the river and Methesco is immediately on the left.
From the west (US 36):
Stay on US 36 (William Street) and go through downtown to the intersection with US 23. Turn right on to US 23 south. You will pass strip malls on the left and on the right and come to a light at the intersection with Ohio 315. Go through the light and cross the river and Methesco is immediately on the left.
From the west (Ohio 37):
Stay on Ohio 37 (Central Avenue) and go through downtown and down the hill to Union Street. Turn right on Union Street and go two blocks. Turn left on William Street and go to the US 23 intersection. Turn right on to US 23 south. You will pass strip malls on the left and on the right and come to a light at the intersection with Ohio 315. Go through the light and cross the river and Methesco is immediately on the left.
