Crossley, a native of Springfield, Ohio, is the MAC West Division's Defensive P-O-W. He garnered the award after totalling 10 tackles, including four for a loss, in the Falcons' 41-20 win over Eastern Michigan Saturday night (Oct. 30). Crossley had three sacks, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery in the win.
He took the recovery all the way to the endzone, grabbing an EMU backward pass with one hand and rambling 30 yards untouched. That play was BGSU's fourth non-offensive touchdown of the season.
With EMU trailing by two scores late in the game, and trying to mount a drive, Crossley sacked Eagle QB Matt Bohnet and forced a fumble in BGSU territory.
The Falcons continue a three-game homestand by taking on Western Michigan University this Saturday (Nov. 6). The teams will meet at Perry Stadium in a 1:00 p.m. start.
