Emily Manser Named To CoSIDA Academic All-America Volleyball District Team

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - Bowling Green State University volleyball player Emily Manser has been named to the Academic All-District IV University Division Team, announced Thursday (Nov. 11). Manser is only the fourth Falcon in school history to be named to the first-team.
The left-side hitter was named Mid-American Conference Player of the Week back on September 27 where she recorded a career-high 15 kills and 16 digs in a win over Northern Illinois, as well as a 12 kill and 17 dig performance win over Toledo the previous night.
Manser, a native of Westerville, Ohio (North), is second on the team with 3.26 digs per game and fifth with 2.01 kills. She owns 10 double-figure kill and 17 double-figure dig outings. She also owns 10 double-doubles this year, including three straight matches versus West Virginia, Robert Morris and High Point at the West Virginia Invitational.
Manser is currently majoring in communication disorders and maintains a perfect 4.00 grade-point average.
