Recap | Final Stats | Notes
On committing just six turnovers in the second half
"We started out too fast. Coach (Dakich) talked at halftime about slowing down and getting into our offense."
"Coach (Dakich) told me that I'm a much better player off the ball and coming off screens. It helps to get John (Reimold) and Josh (Almanson) and John Floyd better looks"
"We had a tough summer for a lot of different reasons. After DePaul, people thought we might be in trouble and coach really challenged us with playing two decent teams this week."
On defending Marcus Sommerville
"He is labeled as an NBA prospect. Germain (Fitch), John and Cory (Eyink) did a good job eliminating touches and we were able to hold another scorer below his average by quite a bit."
BGSU Coach Dan Dakich
"I thought this concluded a pretty good week. I like this team and the way they're playing"
On John Floyd's play
"John was a catalyst once again but I thought everyone hustled. It is a fun team to watch right now."
"John (Floyd) really struggled early. He didn't have the greatest month of October. But he has really turned his deal around in games. Which is better than a guy playing really good in practice."
"Marty Richter (assistant coach) did an unbelievable job setting us up defensively."
"We really started nailing people with screens. It is the best we've screened since maybe ever in the eight years I've been here."
Bradley Head Coach Jim Les
On BG defending Sommerville
"They paid great attention to him. Mixing things up and giving us different looks. We couldn't get him many openings and I thought he rushed things when he did, but give them credit."
On BG's second half run
"We got away from the same things that got us back into the game. Give them credit. Their veterans stepped up and made plays. Being a veteran team they didn't get rattled and made big shots and big plays."
