Mobile, Alabama - A traveling party of more than 180, including 99 players, have arrived in Mobile, Alabama as festivities for the sixth annual GMAC Bowl began on Friday.
Final exams concluded on Friday morning for the Falcons and the team arrived in Alabama early in the afternoon. Following a team meeting and dinner, the players were given the evening off.
BGSU Coach Gregg Brandon and athletic director Paul Krebs represented the University at the Governor's Welcome Reception in downtown Mobile.
"We are honored and excited to represent our University and the Mid-American Conference at the GMAC Bowl," said Brandon. "We are humbled by your invitation and appreciate the hospitality that you have shown us."
