Falcon Women Golfers 11th After Day One of Snowbird Classic

Tampa, Fla. - The Bowling Green State University women's golf team sits in 11th place after day one of the 18th annual Snowbird Classic, being hosted by Northern Illinois University in Tampa, Fla. The tournament is being played at the Pebble Creek Golf Course.
Senior Jenny Schnipke leads all Falcons with a score of 78, good enough for a 18th-place tie. Freshman Kari Liggett is tied for 39th with a 84, while Amanda Schroeder is T-46th (85), Julie Wise is T-60th (90) and Kari Evans is T-60th (90).
Southern Mississippi leads the 18-team tournament after shooting 297 as a team. USM golfer Jennifer Keefe fired an even-par 72 and leads the event by two shots over teammate Mia Davidson, who toured the Pebblecreek Golf and Country Club with a 2-over-par 74.
The final round of the 2004 Snowbird Classic concludes on Friday (March 12), with tee times beginning at 8 a.m. (EST).
