Tyler Saneholtz Named MAC Pitcher of the Week

Bowling Green, Ohio - Bowling Green junior Tyler Saneholtz (Whitehouse, Ohio) was named the Mid-American Conference's West Division Pitcher of the Week for March 15. It is the first time that the Anthony Wayne High School graduate has been named MAC Pitcher of the Week.
Saneholtz registered a seven-inning, complete game, two-hit shutout against Rhode Island last Thursday in a 4-0 victory. The junior struck out a career-high nine batters and walked three in the victory to increase his scoreless innings streak to 16. Earlier last week, Saneholtz struck out eight in a 1-0 victory over Boston College. He currently has a 2-0 record with a 0.00 ERA, 20 strikeouts and just eight walks in 16 innings pitched.
Saneholtz is the second Falcon to be named MAC West Division Pitcher or Player of the Week this season. Sophomore Nolan Reimold was named MAC West Division Player of the Week on March 1.
The Falcons are scheduled to host its home opener vs. Sienna Heights tomorrow, March 16, at Warren Steller Field beginning at 2 p.m. The game will be broadcasted by Buckey Cable Sports Network (BCSN) in Toledo, Ohio.
