Bowling Green, Ohio - Fifty-four lettermen are out for spring football this year as the Falcons look to defend their 2003 MAC West Division and Motor City Bowl titles. BGSU will hold its annual spring game April 10 at noon. The Falcons return eight starters on offense, nine on defense and two on special teams from a team which finished 23rd in the final Associated Press and ESPN/USA Today Coaches Polls. The Falcons also finished 24th in the final BCS standings.
* The Falcons return 4,043 receiving yards and 29 TD catches.
* The Falcons return 1,882 rushing yards and 16 TDs. Among returning players, BGSU averaged 5.1 yards per carry.
* Senior Scott Mruczkowski (37 games) and sophomore Devon Parks (14 games) have started every game in their career.
*Twelve players started at least one game during their freshman year: Mruczkowski, Parks, Andrew Hart, Jonathan Culp, Cole Magner, James Hawkins, Charles Sharon, P.J. Pope, Mitchell Crossley, Matt Leininger, Keon Newson, and Jelani Jordan.
