Richmond, Ky. - The Bowling Green women's golf team is tied for eighth place after day one of the Eastern Kentucky Invitational, held in Richmond, Ky. Individually, senior Jenny Schnipke is tied for fourth place with a one-round score of 75.
The Falcons have carded a team score of 329 after one round, tying them with Butler and the Kentucky junior varsity team. Murray State leads the 15-team tournament with a score of 301.
Besides Schnipke, other Falcons competing are senior Kari Evans (T-36th, 82), sophomore Amanda Schroeder (T-55th, 86), freshman Kari Liggett (T-55th, 86), and senior Julie Wise (T-59th, 87).
Final round action of the EKU Invitational will take place on Friday, April 16.
