Bowling Green, Ohio - Bowling Green's baseball game against visiting IPFW at Warren Steller Field was called due to rain in the top of the first inning. The Mastadons were leading 3-0 with no outs and runners on second and third when the game was halted.
The start of the game was delayed 34 minutes due to rain showers and was stopped at 3:50 p.m. by the umpires. This makes the 10th game for BGSU that has been cancelled due to rain this season.
The Falcons (19-10 overall, 6-6 in Mid-American Conference) travel to defending MAC Champion Kent State this weekend for a three-game series (April 23-25). The Flashes are 18-19 overall and 6-6 in the league, as well.
