HILLSDALE, Mich. - Senior Alicia Taylor helped lead the Bowling Green State University track and field team to a second consecutive promising day at the Hillsdale Relays Saturday night. Taylor captured both the 100-meter dash and 100-meter hurdles.
Taylor posted times of 12.15 in the 100-meter dash and 14.04 in the 100-meter hurdles. She was also a member of the 4 x 100-meter relay team that placed second with a 46.64.
Joining Taylor in the 100-meters Valerie Holland placed third (12.25) and freshman Jessica White placed fifth (12.37).
Two freshmen had personal-bests in the throws. Paris Bussey placed sixth in the discus with a toss of 43.00 meters, while Andi Bunko placed fourth in the javelin with a mark of 36.89 meters.
The Falcons return to action on April 30, when they travel to Columbus, Ohio, for the Jesse Owens Relays.
