Reimold Tabbed All-MAC First-Team, Lawson and Warnock Second-Team

Bowling Green, Ohio - The Mid-American Conference today announced its 2004 Baseball All-Conference teams, with Bowling Green's Nolan Reimold (outfield) being named to the All-MAC First-Team, and Jeff Warnock (outfield) and Eric Lawson (second base) earning All-MAC Second-Team.
BGSU finished the season with a 28-19 overall record and 13-11 MAC record, just missing a bid to the conference tournament.
Nolan Reimold, Soph., 6-4, 205, Greenville, Pa. (Kennedy Catholic H.S.)
Reimold, a sophomore from Greenville, Pa., finished 15th in the nation with his .749 slugging pct., 31st nationally with his .404 batting avg., and 32nd nationally with 1.21 runs-batted-in per game (57 total). The outfielder led the Falcons this season in 12 categories and was twice named the MAC Player of the Week. He committed just one error in 85 chances from his right-field position with five assists. Reimold had 14 doubles, three triples, and 13 home runs in a team-high 46 starts this year.
The 6-foot-4, 205-pounder has a career batting avg. of .370 (115-of-311), fifth-best all-time in BGSU history. He finished the season on a 13-game hitting streak and his 57 RBIs are tied for the fourth-highest single-season total in BGSU history.
Jeff Warnock, Junior, 6-1, 175, Cincinnati, Ohio (Taylor H.S.)
Warnock, a junior from Cincinnati, Ohio, batted a career-best .353 this season while recording a team-high 12 sacrifice hits. He was 8-for-8 in stolen bases and committed just one error in 55 chances in left field with several "big-league" catches. Warnock hit safely in 10 of his last 11 games and was tied for the team-lead with Reimold with three-triples. He raised his career-batting average by 24 points this season to .301 in 415 career at-bats.
Eric Lawson, Freshman, 5-9, 170, Milford, Ohio (Milford H.S.)
Lawson, a freshman from Milford, Ohio, finished third on the team and 16th in the MAC with a .363 batting avg. He was a candidate for the MAC Freshman of the Year. His 58 hits, 38 runs scored, and .450 on-base pct. were second-best on the BGSU squad while pounding out 11 doubles, one triple, five home runs, and 29 RBIs. The second baseman batted .406 in 22 league games, also second-best for the Falcons. Lawson finished the season with a 10-game hitting streak and served as BGSU's leadoff hitter in 21 games overall.
