Six Gymnasts Earn Scholastic Academic All-American Honors

The National Association of Collegiate Gymnastics Coaches/Women named six Bowling Green State University Gymnasts 2004 Scholastic All-Americans over the past weekend. Senior Kelly Kropko, junior Kari Elste, sophomores Jessica Guyer and Erin McCollam and freshmen Erin Coudriet and Karly Yohe were all recognized for their academic and athletic efforts last season. Elste, Guyer and McCollam are two-time winners of this prestigious award, after also being named All-Americans for the 2002-2003 season. To qualify as a Scholastic All-American, a student-athlete must have earned a grade point average of 3.5 or higher for the school year. A total of 386 student-athletes representing 66 schools were named Scholastic All-Americans.
