Bowling Green Ohio - The BGSU men's soccer team hosted their second exhibition game today against Defaince, defeating the Yellowjackets 4-1 at Mickey Cochrane Field. The first goal for the Falcons came off an assist from Alec Perea and was scored by Omari Aldridge. Aldridge also assisted Ryan Perea on his goal at the 67:20 mark, giving the Falcons a 2-1 lead. "We created some opportunities and we took advantage of them. In the first half we didn't know what to do with the opportunities," said head coach Fred Thompson. Adrian Akpan scored the third goal for the Falcons on an assist from Alec Perea. The fourth and final goal came off an assist from Deryck Freudeman and scored by Francisco Sanchez. "My concern right now is fixing the defense, especially the back four. The goal was soft that they (Defiance) scored." "We're being approximate right now. I want to get to being exact with what we do," Thompson said. This is the second win for the Falcons in exhibition play. BG opens up the regular season next Wednesday at home against Michigan State at 4p.m.
