Falcons Sweep Dual Meet With Toledo To Open The 2004 Season

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - Freshman Jamie Roflow and sophomore Rogers Kipchumba both captured first-place as the Bowling Green State University men's and women's cross country swept the University of Toledo Friday afternoon (Sept. 3) in a dual meet. Both squads competed in a 5K. For the men, Kipchumba posted a time of 15:40 to win the dual meet, while teammate Edwin Cheriuyot was a mere five seconds behind to place second with an 15:45. BGSU's other performances were, Bryan Jackson (4th, 16:34), Ryan Rohrer (7th, 17:10), Will Elmore (9th, 17:22), Steve Vairetta (10th, 17:24), Jeremy Hartley (11th, 17:25), Curtis Farnsel (13th, 17:33), Aaron Hemmelgarn (19:08) and Kevin Kaighin (18th, 19:15).
