"I give a lot of credit to Western Michigan. We were coming in here playing well, they were playing well, I thought we had a really good environment in here and Western never flinched. They came right out after us, got a nine point lead and we fought. This isn't last year's team. Last year's team, I would be watching tape and look at guys not giving effort, but it wasn't effort. The problem was the executing of making shots. I thought we didn't knock in some of the looks that we've knocked in but again I give credit to Western because there defense has been very tough to play against. They've been a very tough team for a very long time. But I thought my kids battled really hard and I thought that this was a good college basketball game that really kind of came down to who was going to make more shots when they had shots and they did."
