Falcons Finish 14th at Xavier Invitational

LOVELAND, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University men's golf team finished 14th at the Xavier Invitational this week (Oct. 10-11) after shotting a 54-hole score of 885. Austin Peay and Xavier finished in a tie for first with an 843 team score.
The top Falcon finisher was Jace Walker. He shot a 214 (73-69-72) to finish 17th overall. Senior Heath Ziglar finished 46th with a 221. Senior Tommy Lopez (224, T-74th), Dan McIntyre (228, T-74th) and Trevor Spathelf (236, T-94th) rounded out the top five.
Up next for the Falcons is the Big East/MAC Challenge in Orlando, Florida, set to begin Nov. 5-6.
