Jon Horrell Named CCHA Goalie Of The Week

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. - Bowling Green State University student-athlete Jon Horrell was named CCHA Goalie of the Week according to the league office, announced this afternoon. The senior helped the Falcons earn a 2-2 tie Friday night in Columbus, Ohio, versus the #2/#3 Ohio State Buckeyes.

Horrell stopped 41-0f-43 shots last Friday vs. Ohio State.

The senior netminder stopped a career-high 41 of a possible 43 shot attempts from the Buckeyes, earning him the #1 Perani Cup Star. After allowing the second shot of the game in, he turned away 40 of the next 41 Buckeye shot attempts.

On the season the Beckenham, England, native has a 3.77 gaa and a .885 save percentage.
