Race For 1,000 Crosses Finish Line
Senior Emily Manser and junior Chrissy Gothke have accomplished something very special this season. Manser recorded 17 digs against Akron on Oct. 22 to put her over the 1,000 career dig plateau. With junior Chrissy Gothke also recording her 1,000th career dig earlier this season, the pair becomes only the second duo to accomplish the feat in the same season after Tammy Schiller and Lisa Mika surpassed 1,000 digs in 1991.
