Jordan Sigalet Named CCHA Goalie of the Week

Bowling Green, Ohio - Bowling Green senior Jordan Sigalet was named Goalie of the Week by the Central Collegiate Hockey Association today. The Falcons swept Western Michigan (4-1 and 5-2) this past weekend for the first time since 1996 to move within one point of fourth place in the CCHA standings.
It marks the fifth time in Sigalet's career that he has been named Goalie/Defensive Player of the Week, including the second time this season.
Sigalet (Surrey, B.C.) helped hold the second-best power-play unit in the CCHA scoreless on 10 of 11 chances on the weekend, finishing with a .944 save pct. on 54 shots faced (51 saves). In 120:00 minutes of work, he allowed just two even-strength goals and has now held 15 opponents to two goals or less this year and 10 opponents to one goal or less in 27 appearances.
Sigalet is 13th in the nation and second in the CCHA with his .923 save pct., is 30th in the nation and fifth in the CCHA with his 2.64 gaa., and is 20th in the nation with his .635 winning pct. (15-8-3).
The senior goalie now has 3,008 career saves in 97 games, third-best on BGSU's all-time list. He is the career leader at BGSU with his .917 save pct. and is second with his 2.91 gaa.
