Elste Named MAC Specialist Of The Week

CLEVELAND, Ohio - For the second time this season, BGSU gymnast Kari Elste has been named MAC Specialist of the Week. The senior tied the school record of 9.950 on the uneven bars, helping the Falcons establish a record-breaking score of 196.100 in her only event over the weekend.

The Wheaton, Illinois, native has placed first on the uneven bars three times this year (vs. Semo, WMU and BSU)and owns four of the top eight performances on the uneven bars this season for the Falcons.

Elste and the Falcons travel to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to square off with Pittsburgh and Michigan State this weekend (Feb. 26) at 8:00 p.m.
