McClung Named To Academic All-MAC Squad

CLEVELAND, Ohio - BGSU track and field member Kerri McClung was named to the Academic All-MAC team this afternoon according the conference office. The senior shot put standout earned the award for the second time in her career.
McClung, a native of Portland, Indiana, maintains a 3.85 grade-point average, while majoring in special education.
The academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for the particular sport. First-year students and junior college transfers in first year of residence are not eligible for the award.
