BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University women's basketball team will hold its annual banquet on Saturday, April 23, in the multi-purpose room of the Bowen-Thompson Student Union. The evening's events begin with a social at 5:30 p.m., followed by dinner at 6:00 p.m. and the program to follow.
The cost to attend the banquet is $25 per person or $45 per couple. The cost to be a player sponsor is $25, while it is $250 to be a table sponsor (table of 10).
The Falcons' three seniors, Kelly Kapferer, Tene Lewis and Sakima Smith, will be recognized, and the team's end-of-season awards will be handed out as well.

The 2004-05 Falcons, of course, won both the Mid-American Conference regular-season and tournament titles, and advanced to the NCAA Championships for the first time in 11 years. The Falcons of head coach Curt Miller, associate head coach Jennifer Roos and assistants Brandi Poole and Kevin Eckert finished 23-8 overall, the team's most wins in 11 years as well, and BG was 13-3 in MAC play to win the West Division by two games. The team's season came to an end with a 10-point loss to Kansas State in the NCAA Championships First Round in Seattle, Wash.
In addition to the three seniors, Miller and his staff had two juniors, six sophomores and two freshmen on the 2004-05 squad.
