BGSU Women's Golf Finishes 17th at East/West Rio Verde Invitational

Rio Verde, Arizona - The Bowling Green State University women's golf team finished 17th at the East/West Rio Verde Invitational on Saturday at the White Wing Golf Course in Rio Verde, Arizona with a three-round score of 996. Michigan captured the 18-team tournament with a 54-hole score of 900.
BGSU was led by freshman Jessica McCann who finished tied for 42nd with a score of 240 (77-76-87). Sophomore Kari Liggett finished T-68th with a score of 246 (83-8-82). Other Falcons competing were Karen Binzel (T-89th, 256), Carley Hrusovsky (T-91st, 257), Amanda Bader (98th, 259), and Amanda Schroeder (107th, 285).
Michigan's Laura Olin was the medalist with a score of 218 (73-74-71).
The Falcons ended with team rounds of 334-326-336.
BGSU now travels from Arizona to Florida for the NIU Spring Lake Invitational in Spring Lake, Florida. The Falcons compete this Friday-Saturday, March 11-12.
