Bowling Green, Ohio - Bowling Green's baseball game against Kent State got a late start on Friday and was later suspended with the visiting Flashes leading 1-0 in the top of the second inning. The game is scheduled to resume at 12 noon on Saturday, April 23, followed by a second contest.
The game started at 4:48 p.m. and was stopped at 5:16 p.m. with KSU runners on first and third and two outs.
Andy Hargrove singled home Drew Saylor and advanced Chuck Moore to third base before the game was stopped. BGSU's Alan Brech started the game on the mound while Jason Brunke started for KSU.
