Indian Springs, Ohio - Bowling Green sits in ninth place after day one of the 2005 Mid-American Conference Championships, being held at Walden Ponds Golf Club in Indian Springs, Ohio. The Falcons have a one-round team score of 325, two shots behind eighth-place Marshall. Kent State leads the nine-team tournament with a score of 287.
Sophomore Kari Liggett is tied for 23rd place with a score of 78 with freshman Amanda Bader T-29th with a score of 80. Meanwhile, junior Amanda Schroeder is T-38th (83), senior Karen Binzel is 40th (84), and freshman Jessica McCann is T-41st (87).
The second round is schedule to begin at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday with the final round slated for 8:30 a.m. on Sunday.
