BGSU Men's Golf Signs Charles-Etienne Seguin to 2005-06 Roster

Bowling Green, Ohio - Bowling Green State University men's golf coach Garry Winger has announced that Charles-Etienne Seguin has signed a national letter of intent to attend BGSU in 2005-06. Seguin is a native of Gatineau, Quebec.
Seguin graduated from St. Lawrence High School of Buckingham, Quebec, in December of 2004. He led them to the Provincial Championship in 2002 and 2003. He was also named Rookie of the Year in 2002 and Most Improved in 2004.
In 2003, Seguin compiled a scoring average of 74.9 on his way to a sixth-place finish at the Quebec Junior Championship with a four round total of 300. He also posted a 36-hole score of 143 to place fourth at the BNC Classic the same year.
Some of Seguin's other accomplishments include a fifth-place finish at the Abitibi Open, with a two-round score of 140, as well as finishing 43rd on the National Royal Canadian Golf Association's Order of Merit.
Seguin was also named to the Dean's Honour List at St. Lawrence in both the fall and winter of 2003 and 2004.
Seguin is planning to major in Finance at BGSU, with the goal of obtaining an MBA and some day opening his own business.
He is the son of Robert Seguin and Anne Gauthier.
